Presentation of the association"De Condate à Lyon Confluence" is a cultural non-profit organization whose purpose is to spread and preserve the historical and architectural heritage of the Lyon's "Presqu'île".
In this perspective, the association develops three points :
- everyone-opened activities : urban walks, discovery wanderings and conferences made for everybody, to discover differently the city, adding the human factor which faconate it.
- The elaboration of a partnership with others cultural non-profit organizations or differents heritage players, enables to address a large audience (kids, elders, people of reduced mobility...), by putting our abilities together and provide voluntary help, in particular upon guided tours.
- the implementation of a photographic database and a documentary collection dedicated to the city, including books, postcards, old time pictures and maps, for a better understanding of the urbanistical evolution of Lyon’s center.
DCLC's will is to help the old and new Lyon's citizens to better know their daily environment, and to permit the worldwide curious persons to discover one of the most beautiful city's heart history, registered in the UNESCO World Heritage, in a playful way, where the "human" re-takes up his place.
